Connect eye, mind and hand in this on-site, drawing workshop of interiors. Participants will begin with studio exercises in composition and gaining control of ink pens, exploring different types of contour and textured lines. The works of several artists will be shown for inspiration. The class will then move on to render interior spaces at Washburn Studios resident Victorian house as well as local Saugerties Village coffee shops. Revisiting the rules of perspective and visual angles will give the illusion of depth and dimension if desired. Copies of student artwork can be printed and exhibited in the various cafes.
