Place, Time & Event: Visual Narrative Painting

How do you create a painting that is a visual narrative of a memory or dream? This studio workshop will take you from concept sketches of important events, people and places that make up important and memorable visual moments of your life, to full scale paintings. Experiment with creating memory boards in gouache and ink in unpacking the salient, visual details of a defining moment. Work with varied media and materials to create a final painting. Gouache, acrylics, and drawing materials included. K-12 art educators provided with take-away lesson plans in google slides focusing on SEL in works of art.
